Through the generosity of the Virginia General Assembly, the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia will have equal access to quality information through their local public library. bigchalk.com provides a broad spectrum of educational Internet services to teachers, students, parents, librarians and school administrators in the K-12 educational and public library markets. SIRS is offered in cooperation with Virginia's public libraries, K-12 public schools, and the Virginia Community College System by the Library of Virginia. This project is funded through Library Services and Technology ACT (LSTA) funds.
